Suitable only for minority community students, this scholarship gives financial support of up to Rs. 8000 per month depending on the program or level of education you are seeking. This scholarship is distributed to students regarding their academic advantage and financial need.

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal: This scholarship is mainly intended for girl students who have qualified class 12th from any board and are currently seeking an undergraduate degree course in Basic Science/Medicine/Engineering at any institute of West Bengal. The purpose of this plan is to support girl’s higher education and maintain their scientific ability. The girl students staying in West Bengal are qualified to apply for this scholarship. West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC: Working under the Backward Classes Welfare Department, this scholarship for West Bengal students works to give financial support to SC/ST/OBC students studying in post matriculation or post-secondary level to empower them to achieve their education. West Bengal Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC ST Students: Performed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India and administered by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal, this is a centrally sponsored Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC and ST scholars studying in class 9th and 10th. Aikyashree Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Though every scholarship has its set of pre-defined eligibility requirements, the critical condition to be qualified for West Bengal scholarships is that the candidate should be a permanent citizen of the West Bengal state or be a domicile of the place.   • The candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • If studying at the higher secondary level or diploma, the candidate must have secured at least 75% marks in class 10th.
  • If studying at the undergraduate level, the candidate must have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th.

West Bengal Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC

Step – 1: Student Registration

Step – 2: Scheme Eligibility
