The KSWCFC released the notification for the online registration of this scholarship. The KSWCFC introduced this scholarship for students belonging to economically backward sections of forwarding communities. Samunnathi Scholarship distributes awards from high school level to postgraduate students.

Samunnathi Scholarship 2022

Samunnathi Scholarship can be applied through online mode only. Forward communities students domiciled in Kerala State can only apply for this scholarship. This scholarship helps forward community students of Kerala to complete their higher education. So, all the eligible students from the non-reservation forward community of Kerala can apply. This Scholarship initiated in 2013-14 to offer competitive support to forward community students. Students who are studying professional courses will get special scholarships under this scheme. Professional courses like ICWA/CA/CS and those studying in NIT, IIM, IIT, etc.

The KSWCFC is a government of Kerala undertaking private limited company. It has incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956. The KSWCFC has the motive to promote the development and welfare of economically backward sections within the forward communities of Kerala. Samunnathi Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for Samunnathi Scholarship:

  • The student’s family income from all sources should be less than 2 lakhs per annum.
  • Students must be from the non-reservation forward community and domicile of Kerala State.

Samunnathi Scholarship Coaching Assistance

  • This scholarship provides financial support to economically backward students from forwarding communities. Those students who are undertaking training for various competitive exams. These are Civil Service/Bank/PSC coaching, Medical/Engineering entrance coaching, etc.
  • An amount of Rs. 10,000 will be granted to 840 students of higher secondary. Also, granted to students who have already completed higher secondary from the past 2 years.
  • These students are eligible to apply for the medical/ engineering coaching assistance scheme.
  • A total of 700 educated people will get an amount of Rs. 6000 as financial aid. Those people should have acquired basic qualifications for the competitive exams of Bank, UPSC, and PSC.
  • Apart from this, the students who are preparing for the Civil Service exams will receive separate financial aid.
  • An amount of Rs. 15,000 will be granted for the Preliminary exams. An amount of Rs. 25,000 will be granted for the Main exams. Whereas an amount of Rs. 30,000 will be granted for the Interview.

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

  • The student must belong to the Muslim, Latin or Converted Christian Community.
  • Students must be a domicile of Kerala State.
  • Students must be a Girl student studying for graduation or higher courses in Govt/Aided institutions.
  • Students who have given the Common Entrance Examinations and got admission to self-financing colleges from the merit seat are also eligible.
  • Students must have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examinations.
  • The student’s family income should not be more than 8 Lakhs per annum.
  • Students who apply for hostel stipend must be staying in recognized hostels.
  • Students who are eligible for the hostel stipend will not be eligible for the scholarship.
  • Students must have a bank account in any recognized bank to receive the scholarship amount.

CH Muhammed Koya Scholarship Selection Process

The selection of students for this scholarship is based on the recommendations of the Sachar Committee Report. The scholarship applications will be verified by the institutions. After this, it will be sent to the project officer of the committee to take the final decision. The project officer will verify the applications.

Then, sanction the scholarship amount for the selected candidates. The students should have a bank account in any nationalized bank to receive the scholarship amount. Then, the scholarship amount will be disbursed to the selected student’s bank account through the DBT process.

Karnataka State Scholarship Portal

Govt of Karnataka offers many scholarships to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority Communities/General (Economically Weaker Section) through SSP Portal Scholarship 2022. SSP Post Matric Scholarship 2022

This Scholarship offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. This scholarship aims to provide financial support to talented students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Central OBC/minority communities/ General (Economically Weaker)/Kin of Defense Personnel (only technical education). All these students who are studying in Class 11th & 12th and pursuing B.Com/ITI type courses can be eligible for this scholarship. 30% of this SSP Scholarship amount reserved for girls. PRERANA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to PRERANA Scholarship Apply:

  • The student must be a domicile of Odisha state and belong to SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC/Minority category.

The PRERANA Scholarship selections are on the basis of Merit. First, the institute will scrutinize the received applications. Then, forward the applications to the District Welfare Officers (DWOs). LIC Scholarship Amount Details

Selected candidates for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2022 would earn a total of approximately 10,000 per year, payable in 10 monthly installments of approximately 1000 per year. This balance will be transferred directly from the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) to the bank account of the scholar. The shortlisted candidates must, therefore, provide details of their bank account and IFSC code.

Important Instructions for LIC Student Scholarship

The shortlisted students will receive a scholarship for the entire duration of the course by fulfilling the necessary conditions of eligibility for renewal. There is a set of significant terms and conditions that applicants will keep in mind when applying for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship:

  • Candidates will be chosen purely on the basis of merit (percentage of marks in class 10th and 12th and family background). Preference is granted in ascending order of income to students with the lowest annual family income.
  • In the final review of the program, students must achieve better than 50 percentage points throughout graduate courses in Science/Commerce/Arts and 55 percent in academic disciplines or corresponding rank to retain the scholarship for the next year.
  • In a household, only one nominee can earn a scholarship.
  • To continue the scholarship, the candidate should attend the classes regularly.
  • If an applicant breaks certain terms and conditions, the grant may be revoked or cancelled.
  • The scholarship will be cancelled immediately and, at the discretion of the LIC Divisional Administration concerned. The balance of the scholarship paid will be restored from the applicant is found to have earned the scholarship by false statements/certificates.
  • The LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation (LICGJF) will take the initiative in developing a comprehensive system for the collection and sanctioning of the LIC scholarship for students who have been shortlisted.
  • LICGJF will conduct the evaluation of the scheme at regular intervals.
  • At the discretion of the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation Board of Trustees, the regulations can be changed at any time.

How To Apply for National Scholarship Portal?

To apply for a scholarship follow the below steps for National Scholarship Portal Registration

  • Students applying for a scholarship for the first time (Fresh Students) need to “Register” on the portal as a fresh applicant by providing accurate and authenticated information as printed on their documents in the “Student Registration Form”.
  • The national scholarship form registration is required to be filled by parents/guardians of students who are below the age of 18 years on the date of registration.
  • Before initiating the registration process, students /Parents/guardian are advised to keep the following documents handy
    • Educational documents of the student.
    • Student’s Bank account number and IFSC code of the bank branch
      Note: For the pre-matric scholarship scheme, where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their own account details. However, the parents’ account number can only be used against scholarship applications for a maximum of two children.
    • Aadhaar number of the Student
    • If Aadhaar is not available, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School and
    • Aadhaar Enrolment ID or Scanned copy of Bank passbook
    • If Institute/School is different from the domicile state of the applicant, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School.
  • Details to be filled in the National Scholarship application form are
    • Date of Birth (DOB)

  • After submitting the application, the default login id and password to log into the National Scholarship Portal Login will be sent to the provided mobile number. In case the password is not received, the option for forgot a password at the login page shall be used.
  • Students are advised to provide “Annual Family Income” as per the Income Certificate issued by a competent authority in their scholarship application.

In the case of Existing User

  • Apply for National Scholarship Portal Renewal -20 with your ‘Application Id’ and Date of Birth which you registered the previous year.
  • A student can also use ‘Forgot Application ID’ to retrieve their ID.

National Scholarship Portal – Apply Through its Mobile App

Considering the advent of mobile technology, the Government of India has launched its ‘National Scholarship Portal Mobile App’ in the year to make scholarship applications easier and more convenient for the students.   • New Registration: Student has to Click on the option “Student Login”, on the home page of the National Scholarships Portal. Fill up the application as per the instructions are given by the system then click on the Save button. After saving, the student will get a “Temporary ID”. The system will instruct the applicant to submit his/her Temporary ID and date of birth to fill subsequent details. Once registration is complete on the click of the submit button, a Permanent Registration ID is generated which can be used for Renewal and tracking the status of the application.

The application period for each NSP scholarship may also vary accordingly. The applications for centrally funded scholarships generally start in the month of August and continue till November. However, there is no specific timeline for state scholarships. Please refer to the list of scholarships to know their respective application period.

Is Aadhaar a mandatory requirement for all NSP scholarships?

Answer:
No, Aadhaar number is not a mandatory requirement to apply for any NSP scholarship. If the students do not have an Aadhaar number, they can still apply for the scholarships by providing the Aadhaar enrollment id.
