Eligibility Criteria

  • For 10+: Bonafide learners (full time/regular) are eligible to apply for this scholarship in an 11th standard/1st year of an intermediate or similar class.
  • For ITI: Bonafide learners (full-time/regular) will be eligible to apply for this scholarship in the first year of 2 years of ITI program.

IOCL Scholarship for Graduate and Post Graduate

The candidates who apply for this scholarship program online will have to go through the details according to the course for which they apply for the scholarship program. Candidates who do not achieve the qualifications will not be able to start. Under this program, students seeking MBBS, Technology and MBA from prestigious institutes are given the Scholarship.

IOCL Scholarship for Engineering, MBA and MBBS

  • Engineering & MBBS Course: Bonafide Students are eligible to apply for (regular/full-time) engineering and medical courses. In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, students must be enrolled in the first year of such programs (minimum duration of 4 years).
  • MBA Course: Anyone taking the MBA course must ensure that they conform with the specified program of qualification as set out in the guidelines. Candidates enrolled in the first year of this 2-year MBA program will be eligible to apply for the Scholarship.

IOCL Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

On the basis of average marks of all subjects, the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying test shall be determined. Regarding students, the number of marks received for all academic years of graduation shall be based on the maximum sum of marks of all subjects.

For placement, the marks obtained in the qualifying exam rendering the students qualified to pursue admission will be considered in the respective first year of these courses. The following table shows the minimum eligibility percentage of marks required for students of different categories:

Age Limit: the minimum and maximum age for the 2022 IOCL Scholarship is 15 years and 20 years respectively. It can be increased by 3 years for candidates from OBC, 5 years for candidates from ST/SC and 10 years for candidates from Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

Annual Income: The applicant must be a member of a family whose annual income does not surpass Rs 1,00,000. In the case of a tie, it will be referred to as a family whose annual income is closer to Rs. 60,000. Income certification should be obtained from the State/UT/Central Government’s relevant civil authorities whose particulars are stated under the heading’ Candidate Paper Submission. Any affidavit presented as proof of income will not be approved.

Terms and Guidelines for IOCL Scholarship

On some of the basic guidelines, the applicants applying electronically for the above-mentioned scholarships would earn the award. Go through them from the following points:

  • Recruitment Process: Candidates eligible for the Scholarship will be needed to provide the Stream and the path they are currently pursuing and are registered in an accepted college. The selection committee will take into account the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination for granting the Scholarship. The marks obtained by the candidate for admission to the current first year of the course.
    For all academic years of graduation, the percentage of marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam will be calculated on the total aggregate marks of all the subjects. The standardization technique will be introduced in order to rationalize the variability of the marks received by various boards and universities.
  • Income: The gross income of the candidates’ families who qualified for the scholarship program should not surpass Rs. 1,00,000. The income certification must be provided by the relevant State / UT / Central Governments civil authorities whose specifics will be stated in the guidelines issued by the authorities. Any affidavit provided as proof of income shall not be accepted and shall not be deemed valid.
  • Candidate’s Age Limit: As per the rules, a definite age limit for candidates applying for the scholarship has been established. The limit must be at least 15 years old and not more than 30 years old. The age limit calculation will be as per the candidate’s class.
  • Reservation: For the candidates from the reserved categories, 49.5 percent of the scholarships will be reserved. Only those mentioned in the OBC database of Central Governments will be included in the OBC class. OBC candidates will have to submit against the general category under the state list but not listed in the Central Government list. The IndianOil Scholarship Program will also provide quotas for the girl students and the individual with disabilities.
  • Bonus Prize: A lump sum pay reward of Rs 10,000 will be awarded to those applicants who will be able to acquire a Top 10 in 10 and Top 3 in the Merit List Graduate-Post Graduate program.

Important Instructions for IOCL Scholarship

  • Candidates wanting to apply for the 2022 IOCL Scholarship electronically will have to fill out and request the application form before the last day.
  • The applicant will have to apply the application form in an offline mode. The full Applications must be sent to the address provided in the officially released confirmation together with all the important documents via speed email.
  • Authorities will provide the list of the documents to be sent along with the IOCL Scholarship Application Form. Applicants must thoroughly go through it.
  • Candidates are required to obtain approved certificates from the Principal / Head of the school where the applicant is learning and completing the program, or from a Gazetted Officer or a Judicial Magistrate of First Class.

  • Applicants must keep their bank account in any Nationalized Bank branch (in India) with the core banking facility. PACE Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • All the tribal caste (Class 10th to 12th moving) students studying under 1000 schools that come under Tribal Development Department, Maharashtra will be eligible.
  • The student must have cleared the 10th board Examination in 2019

PACE Super 50 Entrance Examination

The entrance exam will be conducted in 2 Phases.

First Phase

  • The first Screening test for both Engineering and Medical applicants will be conducted across all the 1000 schools on June 2022. Timing for the entrance exam will be:
Engineering paper 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Medical paper 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Reporting time will be 1 hour before the exam.
  • 400 students (200 each from Engineering and Medical) will be chosen based on their performance in Screening Test.

Second Phase

  • Second and Final Entrance Exam of all the Selected 400 students will be conducted on 12th July 2019.
  • The timing of the entrance exam will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM for both Engineering and Medical paper.

  • Selected scholars can register themselves for the specified courses till 24th July 2019 at Vagad Pace Global School. They have to carry original and a copy of

  • Pace will also give an extended list of 10 students each for Engineering and Medical who will be given a chance if any selected student doesn’t take admission before 24th July 2019.
  • No fee shall be charged by Iitians Pace/Vagad Pace Global School to any student selected for the program.

PACE Scholarship Direct Admission

PACE has set a percentage criterion for each course. Students scoring 90% or above in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology or rank 1, 2 or 3 in IX final exam or X prelims can get direct admission. Students who qualify for direct admission criteria can also appear for the Ace of Pace Scholarship Exam to avail of a scholarship.

If a student does not fulfill the percentage criterion, he/ she has to appear for the Ace of Pace Scholarship Exam. On the basis of score in the exam, a student is offered admission and scholarship.

OBC Scholarship 2022-2023: OBC scholarships are awarded to students belonging to the OBC category (Other Backward Class). Central Sector Scheme for National Overseas

Central Sector Scheme for National Overseas is an OBC scholarship for candidates who wish to pursue a master’s degree or a Ph.D. program in a foreign university. The fields of study range from professional courses such as medicine and engineering to management and agriculture. Annually, 25 scholarships are provided per subject, and 30% of those are alloted to female candidates.

Candidates pursuing their masters are offered a 3-year fellowship while Ph.D. candidates are offered, 4-year fellowship. Additional benefits include visa fee reimbursement, airfare, allowance for local travel and incidence journey allowance.
Eligibility Criteria for Central Sector Scheme for National Overseas

OBC Scholarship Application Procedure

  • Candidates are required to obtain an application form from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
  • Fill in the required details and attach relevant documents mentioned in the application.
  • Send it back to the Ministry after completing all required processes. Employed candidates are required to send the application form through their employers. Such candidates are also required to attach their tax assessment details and salary slip.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected after careful analysis by a selection committee formed by the ministry. Preference will be given to candidates who have already procured admission to a foreign institution.

Merit Scholarship for OBC Students – Delhi

Merit Scholarship for OBC Students is an OBC scholarship available to students pursuing their class 6th to class 12th. The scholarship is also available for students pursuing professional courses such as medicine or engineering. Students pursuing technical courses are awarded a maximum amount of INR 1620 per month and up to INR 4500 per year for other courses.

  • Candidates need to visit e-District Delhi and fill in the required details. The process is done entirely online as no offline application form exists.
  • Relevant documents, such as income certificate, caste certificate, bank passbook (copy), fee receipt, passport sized photo, and Aadhar card are to be uploaded.

National Fellowship for OBC

National fellowship for OBC is a scholarship that falls under the purview of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. It aims to provide financial assistance to OBC students who wish to pursue advanced degrees and courses. A total of 300 scholarships are available for JRF (Junior Research Fellow) and SRF (Senior Research Fellow). The scheme is applicable to all universities that are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The duration of the scholarship for JRF is two years, however, candidates can continue availing the scholarship as SRF for 3 additional years, provided that the research is progressive.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must belong to the OBC category with documents to support the same
  • Total family income from all sources should not be over INR 6,00,000
  • Must have completed post-graduation
  • Transgender candidates are eligible to apply. Reservation shall be provided as per the norms laid out by the Government of India.
  • Candidates who are already registered for Ph.D./ MPhil are eligible for the award of the fellowship.
  • Selection is made based on the merit of the candidate.

ONGC Scholarship

ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) provides 1000 scholarships to candidates from OBC category. Successful candidates will be awarded an allowance of INR 4,000 per month for the duration of the course.

Samunnathi Scholarship can be applied through online mode only. Forward communities students domiciled in Kerala State can only apply for this scholarship. Samunnathi Scholarship Coaching Assistance

  • This scholarship provides financial support to economically backward students from forwarding communities. Those students who are undertaking training for various competitive exams. These are Civil Service/Bank/PSC coaching, Medical/Engineering entrance coaching, etc.
  • An amount of Rs. 10,000 will be granted to 840 students of higher secondary. Also, granted to students who have already completed higher secondary from the past 2 years.
  • These students are eligible to apply for the medical/ engineering coaching assistance scheme.
  • A total of 700 educated people will get an amount of Rs. 6000 as financial aid. Those people should have acquired basic qualifications for the competitive exams of Bank, UPSC, and PSC.
  • Apart from this, the students who are preparing for the Civil Service exams will receive separate financial aid.
  • An amount of Rs. 15,000 will be granted for the Preliminary exams. An amount of Rs. 25,000 will be granted for the Main exams. Whereas an amount of Rs. 30,000 will be granted for the Interview.

WBMDFC Scholarship 2022-2023 To address the growing aspiration for education in the minority communities of the state and with a view to providing them more avenues for socio-economic and educational mobility by extending financial support and encouragement to the meritorious students belonging to the minority communities, the State Government has decided to set up the “Aikyashree” – West Bengal State Scholarships for Minority Students in West Bengal to be fully funded from the State budget from the financial year 2022-2023 onwards.

The primary objective of the Pre-matric Scholarship is to encourage the minority communities to send their children to school and to prevent drop-out. Talent Support stipend is a State Government-sponsored program under the MA& ME Department, Govt. Of West Bengal. WBMDFC is functioning as a Nodal Officer of the TSP Programme. WBMDFC was established in 1995 as per the West Bengal Act XVIII of 1995, i.e. The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation Act, 1995. The function of the Corporation is to generally undertake the task of the economic welfare of the minorities.

WBMDFC has been taking up various schemes for Economic Welfare, Scholarships, vocational training, mass awareness and career counseling since its inception. This stipend is awarded to the students who are residents of West Bengal and have passed their last final examination securing less than 50% marks. He/she should have been continuing his/her studies in regular mode. The scholarship is awarded to students for pursuing studies from class XI and onwards up to Ph.D. The annual Family Income of the student should be up to ` 2 lakhs. 30 % quota of scholarship has been earmarked for girl students.

The scholarship is given for pursuing professional/technical courses at the graduate and postgraduate levels.

  • The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • Must have got admission in a technical/professional course.
  • Must have secured at least 50% marks in the last Higher Secondary/ Graduation examination.

West Bengal Talent Support Stipend

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minorities, West Bengal

The scholarship is given to meritorious minority students (belongings to Muslim / Christian / Sikh / Buddhist / Parsee & Jain) for pursuing studies from class XI to Postgraduate in regular courses including Diploma (Polytechnic), Diploma in Pharmacy.

  • Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal and has been continuing education in the recognized institutes situated in West Bengal.
  • The student should have passed out in the current year from recognized institutions affiliated/accredited to the WBBSE/WBCHSE/WBBME/any board or university situated in the state of West Bengal.

West Bengal Term Loan Scheme

West Bengal Minorities’ Development & Finance Corporation is providing the Term loan up to Rs. 5 lakh for persons belonging to the notified minority communities.Repayment with @ 6% interest in equal 12 or 20 quarterly installments in 3 or 5 years.

  • Annual family income for the rural areas must be within Rs.98, 000/-(Rupees Ninety-eight thousand) and for urban areas, it should be within Rs 1, 20,000/- (Rupees One lakh twenty thousand) only.
  • Guarantors required for the application for more than Rs. 40,000/-. For Loan from Rs. 40,001/- to Rs.50,000 – A Taxpayer or professionally qualified person (e.g. Doctor, Engineer, etc.) and For loan above Rs. 50,000/- A Govt./Semi Govt. Employee/Teacher or a good beneficiary of WBMDFC.
  • Applicants having training & experience in respect of the business for which he/she is applying will get preference.
  • Applicant’s age must be between 18 to 50 years.
  • Must have a savings Bank Account.

West Bengal Micro Finance (Directly to SHGs)

Small loans are required to sustain the present business, income-generating economic activities, and self-help activities. For this purpose, Microfinance is provided directly to the Self Help Groups (SHGs). At least 60% of members of SHGs should be from the Minority community. Upto Rs. 1,00,000/- per member of Self Help Group (SHGs) are provided directly to SHGs. Repayment at the rate of Interest @7% p.a.in 24 months

  • Self Help Group comprising of 10-20 Minority Women may apply for Loan under this scheme.
  • Annual family income for the rural area must be within Rs.98, 000/-(Rupees Ninety-eight thousands) and urban Areas within Rs 1, 20,000/- (Rupees One lac twenty thousand) only.

West Bengal Minority Women Empowerment Programme

This program is launched by MA & ME Deptt. , Govt. of West Bengal for providing soft loans to Minority women for any income-generating activity or business such as small business, cottage industry, Handicrafts, etc. at the rate of 3% interest. Subsidy @50% of the loan amount, subject to a maximum of Rs.15000/-, is given to each beneficiary.

West Bengal Educational Loan

Maximum Rs. 20 lakhs for study within the country and Rs.30 lakh for study in abroad Education loan is provided for pursuing professional courses like Medical, Engineering, Management, Nursing, and Law, etc. Repayment of the loan with interest @3 % interest in installments after 6 months of completion of the course of employment, whichever is earlier.

WBMDFC Terms and Conditions

  • The applicant has to submit a certificate regarding family income at the time of application.
  • For ‘renewal’ applicants, the continuance of scholarship will be subject to securing 50% marks in the previous year examination.
  • Maintenance allowance will be provided to hostellers and day scholars.
  • Students should be regular in attendance, for which the yardstick will be decided by the competent authority of the school.
  • If a student violates school discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended or canceled. The State Government can also directly cancel the award if duly satisfied with the reasons of violation of these regulations governing the scheme.
  • If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement, his/her scholarship will be canceled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid will be recovered.
  • The course/tuition fees and maintenance allowance will be credited to the student’s bank account directly under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.

Bikash Bhavan Scholarship Renewal 2022

The recipients of Bikash Bhavan Scholarship have to renew it annually. However, this is applicable only for certain courses and is entirely dependent on the candidate’s academic performance.

Candidates have to secure at least 60% marks at their higher secondary when transitioning to UG or diploma. To renew at the postgraduate level, candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in UG or diploma. Furthermore, candidates must have cleared all exams in their first attempt to be eligible for renewal. If candidates meet all these required criteria, they can apply for renewal.

Why should apply for the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship?

Answer:
This scholarship is also known as Swami Vivekananda Scholarship (SVMCM). This scholarship offered by the Government of West Bengal. It aims to help economically background meritorious students pursuing class 11th, 12th, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. It also allows Kanyashree recipients to get benefits.

Is the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship available for all states?

Answer:
No, this scheme is available to only the candidates of West Bengal State.

Question 3.
What are the starting and closing date to submit the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship application?

Answer:
The starting date to apply for the Bikash Bhavan Scholarship is September 2022. Whereas, the closing date to submit the application is 15th November 2022.

Question 4.
How much scholarship amount will be paid to the shortlisted candidates under the Polytechnic level?

Answer:
Candidates will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 750/- per month under diploma or polytechnic level.

Question 5.
How much scholarship amount will be awarded to the selected candidate’s undergraduate and postgraduate level?

Answer:
Candidates will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 750/- to Rs. 1500/- per month undergraduate level. Whereas, selected candidates will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 1200/- to Rs. 1400/- per month under the postgraduate level.
