Sathyadeepam National Scholarship 2022: Sathyadeepam Scholarship is an initiative of Sathyadeepam Weekly, a Malayalam Catholic weekly newspaper published from Ernakulam, Kerala. The scholarship is provided to students from LKG to Class 10 (ICSE/ CBSE/ State).
Also known as the Sathyadeepam National Scholarship, the primary goal is to promote the holistic development of students. It also acts as a pre-preparation for future competitive exams. The program also aims to season and weather students for upcoming challenges in life. The scholarship also aims to enable participants to be well-versed with current affairs. Lastly, the program aims to provide financial assistance to needy, yet meritorious students in Kerala. Students will have to clear a written exam in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

Sathyadeepam Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Students studying in LKG, UKG, and from class 1 to 10 are eligible
- Students pursuing ICSE, CBSE, or State Board syllabus are also eligible
Sathyadeepam Scholarship Benefits
Students who clear the written exam will be awarded scholarships of varying amounts. The students who will secure 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all Kerala Level will be honored in a public award ceremony. Cash awards and medals will be sent to the respective schools.
Sathyadeepam Scholarship Mode of Examination
Sathyadeepam Scholarship Mode of Examination is an Objective-based examination.
- LKG and UKG students will have 20 objective questions along with a sketch to be colored using crayons.
- Students of classes 1 to 4 will have 50 objective questions.
- Students of classes 5 to 7 will have 60 objective questions.
- Students of classes 8 to 10 will have 80 objective questions.
- The duration of all exams will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Students from classes 5 to 10 will be provided an OMR sheet for filling in the answers.
- Students from LKG to class 4 will be required to provide answers to the question paper itself.
Sathyadeepam Scholarship Syllabus for Exam
The syllabus for the exam comprises maths, English and science-related concepts. General knowledge will also be present and is tailored to suit candidates of every grade. Please note, the syllabus for the aforementioned subjects will be based on the respective school syllabus.
