(A) Disease is diabetes mellitus. The excess sugar in the blood is partially excreted in the urine. A sugar- free diet will lower the level of blood sugar, insulin injections will assist in helping cells absorb glucose for their metabolic needs.and enable the liver and muscles to turn it into glycogen.
