NTSE Chandigarh 2019-20: SCERT is the authority which is responsible for conducting the NTSE Chandigarh stage 1 exam. The authority has released the details related to stage 1 application form and students that are interested in it can apply before September 5, 2019. Only students that are currently studying in class 10 can apply for NTSE exam 2020 by filling out the application form offline. The head or the principal of the concerned school can collect the admit card for the NTSE Chandigarh exam from the SCERT office. NTSE Chandigarh exam for stage 1 will be conducted o. November 3, 2019. This will be an offline exam to select the candidates for the stage 2 exam which is going to be conducted at the national level by the NCERT. The result for this exam will be made official on the website in January 2020. NTSE Chandigarh 2019-20 Exam Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates that are appearing for the exam should have passed class 9 and should be currently studying in class 10 for the year 2018-19.
- Candidates should have scored more than 61% in class 9 exam during the year 2018-19 in order to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
- SCERT Chandigarh also provides 5% relaxation in terms of marks for candidates that belong to the SC and PH category.
- Students that have registered under open distance learning can also apply for this exam. For this, the candidate should be less than 18 years in age, should be appearing for the first time and should not be employed.
NTSE Chandigarh Application Form
SCERT Chandigarh has released the application form for stage 1 exam in offline as well as online mode. But the submission of the form needs to be done in offline mode to the SCERT director. NTSE application form will be made available to everyone on August 2019. Candidates can follow the steps below to fill the application form online:
- Go to the official NTSE Chandigarh website and download the application form. You can also get the same from respective school authorities.
- Fill all the details required correctly as well as carefully.
- Paste your recent colored passport-sized photo.
- Attach the required documents like caste certificate for the candidates that belong to OBC or SC category along with a medical certificate for a candidate that belongs to a physically challenged group.
- Submit this application form along with the application fee to the respective school authorities.
NTSE Chandigarh Exam Admit Card
- There will separate admit cards released by NTSE for stage 1 and stage 2 of the NTSE exam.
- The admit cards for the NTSE stage 1 exam will be made official by the SCERT Chandigarh board.
- The school representatives will have to collect the admit cards from the SCERT Chandigarh.
- Candidates can get their admit cards at the end of October 2019 from the respective school authorities
- It is mandatory to carry these admit cards on the day of examination or else students will not be able to write the Chandigarh NTSE 2020 exam.

NTSE Chandigarh Answer Key and Result
The result for the main exam will contain the overall scores of the candidate as well as the MAT and SAT section.
