NTSE Telangana 2019: NTSE Telangana exam board has released the admit card for the stage 2 exam. Candidates who want to appear for the NTSE 2019-20 can refer to the downloading the admit card. The NTSE Telangana exam is conducted in 2 stages. The result for stage 1 declared in February 2020. While the result for stage 2 will declare in June 2020. Only qualified candidates in the stage1 exam are eligible for the stage 2 exam. The final merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance of the candidates. The merit list will be published on the official NCERT portal.

NTSE Telangana 2019 Application Form

The following are the important information related to the NTSE Telangana application form

  • The candidates who are interested to appear for the NTSE exam can also apply through online. Candidates should submit the duly signed application form to the liaison officer.
  • For filling the application form, candidates should be registered on the official website.
  • After that candidates have to download the application form on the official website.
  • The candidates have to keep ready of all the documents for filling the application form.
  • While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter some details. These are personal details, contact details, course-related details, and some additional details.
  • Candidates are instructed to fill all the details in the application form correctly.
  • After filling the application form, candidates are advised to upload the relevant documents. The documents should follow the size and format as mentioned on the official website.
  • After that applicants can take a printout of their application form.
  • After taking a printout, the applicant has to pay the application fee as indicated below.
  • Finally, submit the duly signed application form on or before the due date.

NTSE Telangana Exam Fee

  • For completion of the application process, it is important to pay the application fee.  After that, the candidate can appear for the exam.
  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 50 as the application fee if he/she belongs to the unreserved category.
  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 30 as the application fee if he/she belongs to the reserved category.
  • The application fee should be paid through challan.
  • Make sure to submit the original challan along with the duly signed application form. It has to be submitted at the office of the district educational officer.

NTSE Telangana Exam Question Paper Pattern

The NTSE Telangana stage 1 exam divided into 3 parts. These are the language comprehension test, scholastic ability test, and mental ability test. The following table shows the distribution details of each paper. These are maximum marks, questions, and time allotted.

  • Each correct answer in MAT and SAT stage 1 exam, carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking in any of this segment.
  • SAT and MAT in the NTSE stage 1 exam have MCQs with 4 choices. Candidates are required to mark the correct answer on the given OMR sheet for each question.
  • The LCT is just required for the qualifying exam. The marks scored in the above table is not going to be added in the final score of the candidate. Finally, it will not be considered as a decisive factor of the state-level merit list.
  • SAT evaluates the candidate’s knowledge and probably covers some subjects. These are math, science, and social science for class X and XII levels.
  • MAT evaluates the candidates reasoning skills, thinking ability, and spatial orientation. MAT questions are based on coding-decoding, patterns, problem-solving, series, and analogies.

The answer key for the NTSE will be released on the official website http://bse.telangana.gov.in. The answer key contains answers to all the questions asked in the exam. NTSE Telangana Selection Process

Identifying talent involves a two-step selection process. While the individual state / UT performs the first stage option, the NCERT performs the national level second stage option. The state-level test may consist of two parts: the Part-I Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Part-II Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) to nominate the required number of candidates for the second level examination to be conducted by the NCERT. The final award will be announced based on the total scores of MAT and SAT. Only selected candidates will be notified via registered letter and through the NCERT website www.ncert.nic.in. The marks obtained by the candidates in the written test will be made known to all the candidates through the NCERT website.
