कविता का सारांश
‘तितली और कली’ शीर्षक कविता की कवयित्री शोभा देवी मिश्र हैं। इस कविता में कवयित्री कहती हैं कि पौधे की हरी डाल पर एक नन्ही सुंदर-सी कली लगी हुई थी। एक तितली ने उस कली के पास आकर कहा कि-तुम बड़ी सुंदर लग रही हो। अब तुम जागो, अपनी आँखें खोलो और हमारे संग खेलो। अपनी सुगंध गली-गली में फैलाओ। खेलने की बात सुनकर कली छिटककर खिल उठी। कली को खिलता देख कर तितली उसे छूने के लिए चल पड़ी।

काव्यांशों की व्याख्या

1. हरी डाल पर लगी हुई थी,
नन्ही सुंदर एक कली।
तितली उससे आकर बोली,
तुम लगती हो बड़ी भली।

अब जागो तुम आँखें खोलो,
और हमारे सँग खेलो।
फैले सुंदर महक तुम्हारी,
महके सारी गली गली।

शब्दार्थ: डाल-पेड़-पौधों की शाखा। नन्ही-छोटी। भली-अच्छी। महक-सुगंध।

प्रसंग – प्रस्तुत पंक्तियाँ हमारी पाठ्यपुस्तक ‘रिमझिम’ भाग-2 में संकलित कविता ‘तितली और कली’ से ली गई हैं। इसमें कवयित्री शोभा देवी मिश्र ने एक तितली तथा एक कली के बीच संवाद का चित्रण किया है।

व्याख्या – एक पौधे की हरी डाल पर एक छोटी-सी सुंदर कली थी। एक तितली उसके पास आकर बोली कि वह बहुत ही सुंदर लग रही है। तितली कली से बोली कि-अब तुम जागो तथा अपनी आँखें खोलो और अपनी सुगंध को गली-गली में पहुँचाओ।

2. कली छिटककर खिली रँगीली,
तुरंत खेल की सुनकर बात।
साथ हवा के लगी भागने,
तितली छूने उसे चली।

शब्दार्थ: छिटकना – खिलकर, मुँह खोलकर, रँगीली-सुंदर रंगों से भरी।
प्रसंग – पूर्ववत।
व्याख्या – खेल की बात सुनते ही कली फैलकर खिल उठी। यह देखकर तितली कली को छूने चल पड़ी।

Summary In English
This is the story of a monkey who wants to become strong. One wise woman came to know about this. She gave one magic stick to the monkey to fulfil all his wishes. First of all he wants to become a giraffe. Then he wants to become an elephant and at last he wants to become a zebra.

All his wishes are granted. At last when he comes along the river, he finds himself looking so scary. He felt so bad after watching his face. He told his mother that he was happy being himself. Then he wishes to become monkey again. His wish was granted and he became monkey again. He threw away his magic stick.

यह कहानी एक ऐसे बंदर की है, जो शक्तिशाली बनना चाहता है। एक बुद्धिमती स्त्री को इस बात का पता चला। उसने बंदर को उसकी सारी इच्छाएँ पूरी करने वाली जादू की एक छड़ी दी। सबसे पहले बंदर एक जिराफ बनना चाहता था। उसके बाद उसकी इच्छा हाथी बनने की थी। अंत में वह एक जेबरा बनना चाहता था।

उसकी समस्त इच्छाएँ पूरी हो गईं। अंत में जब वह नदी के पास आया, तो उसे अपना ही चेहरा बड़ा डरावना लगा। अपने चेहरे को देखने के बाद, उसे बड़ा ही बुरा लगा। उसने अपनी माँ से कहा कि वह बंदर के रूप में ही खुश था। उसने पुनः बंदर बनने की इच्छा प्रकट की। उसकी इच्छा पूरी हुई तथा वह पुनः बंदर बन गया। उसने अपनी जादू की छड़ी को फेंक दिया।

Hindi Translation Of The Poem
1. “I want to be big,” says
Little Monkey. “I want
to be strong.”
A wise woman hears
him. “Take this magic wand,”
she says, “and all your wishes can come true.”

“मैं बड़ा बनना चाहता हूँ,” छोटे बंदर ने कहा,
“मैं शक्तिशाली बनना चाहता हूँ।”
एक बुद्धिमती स्त्री उसकी बातों को सुन लेती हैं।
“जादू की इस छड़ी को ले लो,” उसने कहा, ” और

2. A giraffe comes by. He stretches his
long neck. He eats the sweet leaves
at the top of the trees.
“I want a long neck,” says Little
Monkey. “POP!” His neck grows long, just like the
giraffe’s.
