KVPY 2019-2020: Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2019 is a national level exam that aims to encourage scientific temperament among the young minds of the country. The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. The candidates who qualify the exam get a scholarship till the pre-Ph.D. level. The courses for which fellowships are awarded are B.Sc., B. Stat, Integrated M.Sc. and M.S in either Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.

KVPY Eligibility Criteria

The student must be a citizen of India.

SA Stream Students enrolled in the XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2019-20 and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board examination
SX Stream Students enrolled in XII Standard/ (+2) (Science subjects) during the academic year 2019–20 and aspiring to join undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to  B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. for the session 2020–21 provided they have secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/ Biology) in the X Standard Board Examination during the academic year 2017-18

Students in their 2nd year of study in Cambridge International Examination Board and aspiring to join a UG program (viz. B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.)in Basic Sciences namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in the Academic year 2019-20 are eligible to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in the X Standard Board Examination

SB Stream Students enrolled in the 1st year of the undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. during the academic year 2019–20 and having secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)  in the XII Standard Board Examination immediately in the preceding academic year

In the 1st year final examination of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. they must secure 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks before taking up the fellowship

How To Apply for KVPY?

The mode of application for KVPY is online only. The steps to apply are as follows:

  1. Go to the official website http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/main/applications.htm
  2. Register using your email Id and phone number. A login ID will be generated for you.KVPY Registartion
  3. Re-login to the website using the auto-generated username and password.
  4. Fill all the details required.
  5. Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature, as well as the caste certificate( if applicable).
  6. Pay the fees either online using the integrated payment gateway on the KVPY official website, using either Net Banking or Credit/Debit Cards, or offline using the e-challan that can be downloaded from the site. The application fees of Rs. 1000/- (for OBC/General) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PWD) is nonrefundable once the form has been submitted.

KVPY Exam Pattern

KVPY Exam Pattern and breakdown are as follows. The exam is held in two rounds. The first round is a pen and paper test. The test is divided into two parts, with the maximum marks of 100. The 3 hours test has objective type questions. The candidates who qualify the written test are then supposed to attend the interview round.

KVPY Admit Card

KVPY Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website using the username and password that was generated during the registration. The admit card will carry details like Applicant’s Name, Registration Number, Photograph, Date of Birth, Exam Venue, Exam Date, and Timings, etc. The cards will most likely be released in the month of October 2019.

KVPY Result 2019

IISc will declare KVPY Results 2019 in December. The candidates who qualify will have to appear in the interview round in January 2019. KVPY Merit List will be available category-wise, mentioning names and application numbers of qualifying candidates. The merit list will be based on the performance of the candidates in Round 1.

The Fellow continues to study Basic Science courses in school/junior college/university and maintains a minimum level of academic performance of first-class or 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate or equivalent grade points and the students have to necessarily pass all the subjects prescribed for that particular academic year (two semesters in case of semester system) and should have obtained the above-specified percentage of marks.

KVPY Application Process 2019: KVPY Application Form has been released on 8th July 2019. Every year KVPY Exam will schedule on first Sunday of November, this year KVPY 2019 will conduct on November 3rd, 2019, and mode of exam will be online.

KVPY Eligibility Criteria 2019

Students can only apply for KVPY Exam, only after the checking of complete eligibility to appear in the examination.

  • Nationality: Students must be an Indian Nationals.
  • For Stream SA: Students, those studying in 11th standards with science subjects & secured 75% aggregate marks (65% marks for reserved categories) in Mathematics & science subjects in Class 10th can apply.
  • For Stream SX: Students who studying in class 12th & score 75% marks (65% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD category) in aggregate in Mathematics & science in 10th standards can also apply.
  • For Stream SB: Students, those studying in the 1st year of UG course in basic sciences & score at least 60% marks (50% for reserved categories) are also eligible.

How to Apply for KVPY 2019?

Step – 1: Registration

  • Students have to register by filling the application form of KVPY 2019,
  • After that, they have to enter the details like basic details, including email id, mobile number, and date of birth and enter the captcha to complete registration.

UPSEE Counselling Procedure 2019

The counselling procedure contains 6 steps in total

  1. Registration (which includes document uploading and payment of counseling fee)
  2. Document verification
  3. Filling of choices
  4. Seat allotment result

UPSEE Counselling Procedure

UPSEE Counselling Registration 2019

Registration for UPSEE counseling 2019 will be through online mode. You need to register on the official website https://upsee.nic.in/publicinfo/public/home.aspx using your given credentials. Once registered, you will have to pay the counselling fee

  • General and OBC candidates – ₹20,000
  • SC and ST candidates – ₹12,000

You are also required to upload all the necessary documents to complete registration.

You will have to upload all the necessary documents for verification. The size limit for the files is 200 KB. The documents to be uploaded are:

  1. UPSEE Admit Card 2019
  2. UPSEE Rank Card 2019
  3. Class XII Certificate & marks sheet
  4. Rural weightage certificate if applicable
  5. Domicile certificate
  6. Domicile certificate of his/ her parents (Father OR Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P
  7. Character certificate
  8. Certificate of Medical Fitness/ Undertaking of Medical Fitness
  9. Domicile certificate, if applicable.
  10. Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST, if applicable

After this step is done. you will be provided with a One-time-password (OTP) for choice filling.

You will have to fill in your preferred order of colleges and courses. You will be allotted your most preferred seat if vacant, then second and so on.

On the basis of your rank and preference order, you will be allotted a seat.

In this step, you have three options available to you: Freeze, Float and Withdraw.

  • Freeze: You are satisfied with the seat allotted to you and want to finalize it.
  • Float: You are not satisfied with the seat allotted to you and want to wait for the other rounds of counselling to see if your seat will be upgraded. (To one with higher preference)
  • Withdraw: You do not wish to participate further in the admission process. Your seat will be forfeited.

UPSEE Counselling Physical Reporting at College

  • After all the rounds of counseling are completed. you will have to report at the allotted college to complete the admission process.
  • The counseling process is straight forward and entirely via online mode. You need to register on the official website for counselling by uploading all the necessary documents and paying the counselling fee (depending on your category). Then, you will have to upload the necessary documents and certificates for online verification. Once this process is complete, you will be able to choose your preferred order of colleges and courses. Finally, a seat will be allotted to you based on merit.
  • At this stage, you can either choose to withdraw or stay in the admission process. If you choose to stay, you can either freeze the seat allotted to you or opt for float and hope for upgradation.
  • The last step will be to physically report at the allotted college to confirm your seat and finish the admission procedure.

TNEA Counselling 2019: TNEA is a centralized counselling process conducted every year by Anna University for admitting students in B.E./B.Tech first-year course. But this year inwards, DoTE, Tamil Nadu is going to conduct the counselling process. The registrations for TNEA 2019 has ended on May 31, 2019. Seats are allotted to all the participating colleges through TNEA on the basis of marks scored in class 12 exam and no separate entrance exam is conducted in Tamil Nadu for UG admissions in engineering course.

TNEA Counselling 2019 Eligibility Criteria

As there is no entrance exam for TNEA, students need to satisfy the given eligibility criteria to be eligible for counselling.

Nativity

  • Candidates who have studied in class 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th from Tamil Nadu state are eligible to apply. They need not produce a nativity certificate.
  • Natives of Tamil Nadu who have studied outside the state are also eligible to apply by producing the nativity certificate
  • Children of central govt employee whose parents are posted in Tamil Nadu are also eligible to apply in TNEA
  • Wards of Tamil Nadu service (All India Cadre) are also eligible to participate in TNEA

Educational Qualification: Students who are applying for TNEA Counselling 2019 are required to meet the criteria of educational qualification failing which their admission shall stand canceled. The detailed educational qualification is mentioned below

Age Criteria: The TNEA conducting authority has not mandated any restrictions on minimum and maximum age except for Marine engineering, for which maximum permissible age is 25 at the time of submission of application.

Eligibility Criteria for Marine Engineering: Candidates who want to apply for Marine engineering course through TNEA must have

  • Passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects having scored minimum 60% marks aggregate in PCM.
  • Candidates are also required to compulsorily have English 50% marks either in class 10th or 12th.
  • Minimum height permissible is 157 cm and minimum permissible weight is 48 kg.
  • Candidate must not have color blindness and vision should be 6/6 in both the eyes.

Other State Candidates: Candidates who have passed their class 12 from a state other than Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply in TNEA other state quotas. All the eligibility criteria for educational qualification and age remains the same other than the eligibility of nativity.

TNEA Counselling Procedure 2019

The University prepares a merit list of the applicants based on their score in 10+2 examination. The candidate will be called for counseling based on their rank in the merit list.

TNEA Counselling 2019 – Registration

You will have to register for counselling via online mode on the official website (link is given above). You will have to provide information such as your name, date of birth, etc.

TNEA Counselling Fee

After providing the basic information, you will have to pay the registration fee to proceed to the next step. The application fee for General/OBC is ₹500 and ₹250 for SC/ST category.

TNEA Counselling 2019 – Filling Personal Details

Finally, you will have to enter details such as nativity, category, marks obtained, etc. Once done, you can submit your form.

Ensure that you check what you’ve entered a few times before submitting to avoid any errors/discrepancies.

TNEA Counselling 2019 – Random Number Generation

TNEA Counselling 2019 – Merit List

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored in 10+2 examination. Marks scored by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be calculated out of 100 with the break-up of 100 marks for Mathematics and 50 marks each for Physics and Chemistry. Physics and Chemistry subjects carry equal weightage. In case of a tie, it will be resolved based on the following criteria

TNEA Counselling 2019

Candidates will be called in the order of rank on the merit list. You are required to pay an initial fee of ₹5000 (₹1000 in case of SC/ST) towards college admission. You can fill in your choices of preferred colleges and courses on the official website (link is given above) by logging in using your registered credentials. We recommend that you enter as many colleges and courses as possible to increase your chances of getting a seat.

TNEA Counselling 2019 – Seat Allotment

The DoTE will release the results of seat allotment. You will be allotted a seat based on your rank in the merit list, your preference order of colleges and courses and the number of seats available. You can view the results on the official website (link is given above) by logging in. You can choose to either accept the seat or surrender to participate in further rounds of counselling. The final seat allotted to you will be announced after all the rounds of counselling are over. The University will conduct as many rounds as required to fill all the seats.

JEE Advanced Cutoff: The JEE advanced cutoff marks for this year will be released through JoSAA (joint seat allocation authority) counseling for the Indian Institute of technology. The result for JEE advanced has been released on 14th June 2019. Also, category wise results and all India rank for all the successful candidates are available on the main website i.e. jeeadv.nic.in. NEET Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling  2019 – Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have qualified NEET 2019 by gaining minimum cutoff
  • The aspirant must be an Indian Citizen or an Overseas Citizens of India with a certificate proving their nationality.
  • Candidate must be a native of Tamil Nadu with a valid nativity certificate for verification at later stages.
  • Student’s age must be in between 17-25 as on May 5, 2019
  • Candidates must have cleared all the subjects in Class 12 with a minimum percentage of 50 for general category candidates and 40-45% for reserved and PH candidates.

NEET MBBS Counselling Tamil Nadu 2019 – Application Procedure.

The Tamil Nadu NEET MBBS application process is the first step in the counseling process. In this process, candidates must register on DME, Tamilnadu’s official website at tnhealth.org or tnmedicalselection.org. In the registration process, candidates are equipped with a photograph and signature along with with their personal information, NEET 2019 test score, residence status, category, educational details. It is also important that candidates provide valid communication details for further communication through the DME. After filling and submitting the details, the candidates should take the NEET MBBS Tamil Nadu Application Form printout and send it to the Post Office.

NEET MBBS Counselling Tamil Nadu 2019 – Reporting and Seat Allotment

Based on the NEET Scores filled while application process, DME will prepare a merit list and release it by 2nd July 2019. Students whose name in the merit list will be called for counseling procedures. The call letters for NEET MBBS Counselling Tamil Nadu 2019 can be downloaded by logging in on the official website using the login id and password generated at the time of registration.

DME will conduct NEET MBBS Counselling Tamil Nadu in Offline mode. As per the instructions on the call letter, students must report at reporting (Nodal) centers for document verification (Original). Based on the vacant seats from the first round of counseling procedure, candidates will be called for the second round. If time permits, DME will also call the candidates as per their rank for the mop-up round. But if the candidate is absent for the 1st phase of Counselling, then he/she will not be permitted to attend the subsequent phase of Counselling. JoSAA 2019 Counselling – Eligibility Criteria

There are no specific eligibility criteria for JoSAA Counselling but you should know about some points:

  • Admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs must be applied to satisfy the JEE main eligibility criteria.
  • On the other hand, candidates eligible for JEE Advanced can participate in counseling for IITs, NITs, IITs, GFTIs, and other participating institutions.
  • Candidates must also meet the eligibility criteria of the participating institutions.

JoSAA 2019 Counselling Process

JoSAA Counselling will be conducted for all the eligible candidates, follow the following steps to know about JoSAA Counselling Process.

JoSAA Counselling 2019 – JoSAA Registration

  • Candidates will have to log in to their account using their credentials and fill the JoSAA Counselling with the basic information such as state eligibility code, Contact information, etc.
  • Students eligible for JEE Advanced will have to enter their login ID and Password, on the other hand, JEE Main eligible students will have to enter roll number and password.
  • For JoSAA Counselling registration is the first step, before submitting students must recheck their details and make sure the details are correct or not.

JoSAA Counselling 2019 – Choice Filling

After the completion of successful registration of the students, available choices will be listed. Candidates will have to fill up the details of the choices in descending order of their preferences and they need to make sure that they fill many choices as possible based on their preferences.

After filling out the options, candidates will be required to lock for seat allocation. If a candidate does not lock his / her options, their last saved options are automatically locked when the time window is closed to fill the options.

  • JoSAA will allocate seats considering various factors as per the schedule released by JoSAA. JoSAA will conduct 2 rounds of mock allotment and choice filling and seat allotment process.
  • The mock seat assignment is for students to come up with an idea. Students can modify their options after the mock assignment for the original Round 1 seat assignment.
  • All 7 rounds of seats will be allotted and candidates will have to decide on the seat assigned to them.

If the candidates are satisfied with the seat allocated to them then they will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the reporting center. However, if the candidates are not satisfied with the seat allotted then they can exercise the following options.

  1. Freeze: The option indicates that the candidate has accepted the seat allocated to it and is not interested in participating in further rounds of counseling.
  2. Slide: This option indicates that the candidate has accepted the seat but, if the admissions are open in a better course in the same institute, he/ she will go for an up-gradation.
  3. Float: This option will indicate that the candidate wishes to accept the present allocated seat but is also looking for an up-gradation if admissions are open in a better/ higher preferred institute and course.

JoSAA Counselling 2019 – Reporting To the College

Once the candidate has opted for the freeze option, then it indicates that he/she is satisfied with the allotted seat and will have to report to the reporting center. The candidate will have to report to the reporting center to get their documents verified. The candidate will have to report to the college as per schedule with the required documents and fee.

JoSAA Counselling 2019 – Dual Reporting

Candidates who have been allocated a different seat from previous assignments should go to the reporting center again. For example, if a candidate was assigned an NIT in the previous round and is now assigned an IIT, he/she should visit the reporting center once again and vice versa

NEET MBBS MP Rank List 2019 – Tie-Breaking Procedure

When two or more students score the same marks in NEET 2019, DME will follow the following procedure to break the Tie:

  • Candidates with higher marks in Biology will be considered.
  • If the tie exists candidates with Chemistry marks will be considered.
  • If the tie still continues students with lesser number of wrong answers will be considered.
  • If the tie still continues after applying above tiebreak criteria, students who are older in age will be considered.

MP NEET Merit List 2019 – NEET Application Procedure

MP NEET MBBS Merit List will be released in the month of June 2019. Candidates who registered for MP NEET MBBS Counselling by filling in the application form will be considered for the NEET MP Merit List.

  • In order to fill the application form candidates must register online by creating their profile.
