JK Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the JK Scholarship, students have to fulfill certain requirements which essentially depend on their domicile, academic qualification, and family income. Know about the eligibility criteria which are necessary to be accomplished for this scholarship here.

  • Students should be State Subject (domicile) of J&K State
  • Students should have Passed 10+2 Exam from JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated schools located in J&K
  • Students should have Passed 10+3 Diploma from J&K State Polytechnic for admission directly in the second year in the prescribed list of Colleges against on the vacant seats of the previous year
  • Overall Family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakh per annum

  • The students who are already undergoing financial assistance under this plan or any other scholarship scheme.

JK Scholarship Application Procedure

Every year, AICTE welcomes online applications from eligible candidates on its official website. If candidates fulfill all the eligibility criteria for JK Scholarship Portal, they can apply for it, following the below steps:

  • Visit the AICTE JK Scholarship Login official website, www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in.
  • Click on the registration button to apply for PMSSS.
  • Fill in all the necessary details.
  • Submit the JK Scholarship form.
  • On successful registration, candidates will receive an SMS/email on a registered mobile number/email for verification.
  • Click on the verification link to perform the registration process.
  • After the successful registration, candidates are required to log in via the AICTE JK Scholarship website.
  • Keep the scanned copies of all the supporting documents in jpg/png format with the file size not more than 2 MB.
  • Once logged in, read the brochure thoroughly, tick the declaration and click on the “Proceed Further” button.
  • Fill in all necessary details in the application form such as personal information, address, family income, educational details, etc.
  • Upload all supporting documents as particularized and preview the application form.
  • Provide the details of preferences and grievance centre details.
  • Finally, submit the application form by clicking on “Submit Application”.
  • After successful submission of application online, the candidates are required to get the print out of the application form and visit the facilitation center along with all supporting certificates in original for document verification.
  • Present the photocopies of all the certificates to the facilitation center at the time of verification.

JK Scholarship Selection Process

JK Scholarship conducted by AICTE is completely a merit-based scholarship that examines the marks obtained by students in class 12th for the selection. Apart from this, there are various other conditions on the basis of which choices are made for different streams. These conditions include

  • Only those students will be elected who have secured admission to a degree course after qualifying an entrance examination conducted by either the central government or state government.
  • For admission in MBBS or BDS courses, the candidates have to qualify for the NEET (CBSE) examination.
  • For admission in the Architecture course, the candidates need to qualify for the NATA examination conducted by the Council of Architecture.
  • Caste and category reservations are also available where 8% of the total seats in each stream are held for SC candidates, 11% reservation is for ST candidates, 25% reservation is for SEBC candidates and remaining seats are for General category students.

General Instructions To Candidates of JK Scholarship

  • The applicant should confidently ensure uploading of joining reports on the portal of AICTE on or before the last date of joining, which will be verified by the Institute, after which DBT application will be opened by the eligible candidates.
  • An applicant who will not upload their joining report on the portal of AICTE Student Login on or before the last date of joining, their seats under the scheme will be canceled automatically and will be allotted to the students in the next/subsequent rounds of counseling (if any).
  • Applicants are required to report for admission at designated University / Institution on the date particularized as per the counseling schedule along with the original documents/testimonials/ certificates required at the time of admission.
  • Nodal Officer may lead the applicant during his/her stay in the college campus.
  • Applicants are advised to visit the AICTE website for all PMSSS updates.
  • No fresh registrations shall be provided in next/subsequent rounds of counseling
  • Applicants must bring the original and one set of self-attested photocopies of the certificates at the time of reporting for final admission in allotted University / Institute.

Under MOMA Scholarship Bihar there are 3 types of scholarship that are described as under. Scholarships under the MOMA Scholarship gov are as follows:

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities

Initiated at the pre-matric level to support the study by minority students, the scholarship awards class 1 to 10 students up to Rs. 600 monthly. In order to be eligible for this pre-matric minority scholarship 2022, the family earnings of candidates must not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh and should not be less than 50% in the prior final examination.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities

Under the system of Post-Matric Scholarship, minority learners may apply for Ph.D. in class 11. The family revenue of the candidates must not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs and their marks or equivalent grades should not be less than 50% in the prior final examination. This national minority scholarship’s chosen learners receive a scholarship quantity of up to Rs. 10,000 per year along with a maintenance quantity of up to Rs. 1200 per month.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional 

Under the MOMA system, the Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship is intended for learners wishing to pursue professional or technical classes at the graduate or graduate level. The chosen learners receive a scholarship quantity of up to Rs. 20,000 per year. The household earnings of the candidates must not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakhs under this national minority scholarship. MOMA Scholarship Schemes for Minorities

In the form of admission, course/tuition fees, and maintenance allowance, the learners chosen for these minority scholarships receive economic support for the entire course. MOMA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To apply for national minority scholarships, learners belonging to minority groups must study transparently in India in a state or private institution chosen and notified by the State / Union Territory Administration involved. The details of the requirements for eligibility are outlined below.

  • Family Income: The annual family income must not be more than INR 2.5 Lakhs from all sources.

MOMA Scholarship Application Procedure

The last date of MOMA Scholarship 2022 is in the month of October 2022. You can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) if you are eligible for any of these minority scholarships. Follow the measures below to fill out the application form for a minority scholarship.

  • First, by giving the right data, the fresh candidates must register as a new customer on the NSP Portal.
  • It is recommended to maintain all the required records with the candidates while applying for their required system of scholarship.

NEC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for NEC Scholarship 2022:

  • The candidate must be a permanent resident of any of the states in the North-Eastern Region.
  • Candidates must possess the relevant qualifications for the chosen course from a recognized Institute/ University.
  • General candidates should secure at least 70% marks in the last qualifying examination for the chosen courses. Courses which includes diploma/ degree/ post-graduate/ Ph.D. / M.Phil.

NEC Scholarship Selection Process

The selection process for the NEC Scholarship is given below:

  • The NEC Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship. So, Selections for this scholarship are made on the basis of Merit.
  • This scholarship considers academic merit prescribed for each chosen course for final selection.
  • The state Govt. is responsible for the selection of candidates after the proper advertisement.
  • The selection procedure also needs to be followed as outlined in Annexure V in the official notification.
  • State Govt. will pay the stipend directly at stipulated rates for diploma level and above to the respective institute.
  • First, DTE scrutinizes the candidate’s application in December.
  • Later on, prepares the list of shortlisted candidates by January every year.
  • After selection, the sanctioned amount will be drawn within 31st March 2020.
  • Then, shortlisted candidates will be paid as per the sanctioned fund.
  • Direct Beneficiary Account transfer through ECS will be used to make payment to shortlisted candidates.

NEC Scholarship Renewal

Candidates must apply for the renewal of scholarship every year. Renewal of scholarship is generally for a period of 1 year from 1st April to 31st March of the next year. Each candidate can get the renewal form from the State Govt. and fill it up in the prescribed format. Thereon, the candidate must get a recommendation from the Head of the institute to renew this scholarship. The recommendation strictly based on the satisfactory progress of the candidate. Failure in any academic year will result in the discontinuation of the stipend for that entire period. Candidates future renewal should be recommended only from the date of clearance to the next higher class/semester.   • The Head of the Institution recommends that whether the application renewed to next year or not forwarded for renewal.

NEC Scholarship Result

The candidate’s application along with documents will be scrutinized and shortlisted in December 2019 by DTE. After that, the result for NEC Scholarship will be published on the official website of DTE, Assam in January 2020. DTE prepares the final selection list of candidates by January every year. Candidates can check the list of selected candidates name on the DTE, Assam portal. Candidates can also search their name in the selection list to confirm their chances of receiving the NEC scholarship. Documents Required for Interview Schedule

  • Interview call letter (can be downloaded from the official website using login credentials).

KVPY Eligibility Criteria

The student must be a citizen of India.

SA Stream Students enrolled in the XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2019-20 and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board examination
SX Stream Students enrolled in XII Standard/ (+2) (Science subjects) during the academic year 2019–20 and aspiring to join undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to  B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. for the session 2020–21 provided they have secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/ Biology) in the X Standard Board Examination during the academic year 2017-18

Students in their 2nd year of study in Cambridge International Examination Board and aspiring to join a UG program (viz. B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.)in Basic Sciences namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in the Academic year 2019-20 are eligible to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in the X Standard Board Examination

SB Stream Students enrolled in the 1st year of the undergraduate program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. during the academic year 2019–20 and having secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)  in the XII Standard Board Examination immediately in the preceding academic year

In the 1st year final examination of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. they must secure 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks before taking up the fellowship

How To Apply for KVPY?

The mode of application for KVPY is online only. The steps to apply are as follows:

  1. Go to the official website http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/main/applications.htm
  2. Register using your email Id and phone number. A login ID will be generated for you.KVPY Registartion
  3. Re-login to the website using the auto-generated username and password.
  4. Fill all the details required.
  5. Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature, as well as the caste certificate( if applicable).
  6. Pay the fees either online using the integrated payment gateway on the KVPY official website, using either Net Banking or Credit/Debit Cards, or offline using the e-challan that can be downloaded from the site. The application fees of Rs. 1000/- (for OBC/General) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PWD) is nonrefundable once the form has been submitted.

  • For General/OBS Category: Rs.1000 + KVAT @ 5.5% = Rs. 1055
  • For SC/ST Category: Rs.500 +  KVAT @ 5.5% = Rs. 528.
  • Application Fee can be paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking or Challan.

KVPY Exam Pattern

KVPY Exam Pattern and breakdown are as follows. The exam is held in two rounds. The first round is a pen and paper test. The test is divided into two parts, with the maximum marks of 100. The 3 hours test has objective type questions. The candidates who qualify the written test are then supposed to attend the interview round.

KVPY Admit Card

KVPY Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website using the username and password that was generated during the registration. The admit card will carry details like Applicant’s Name, Registration Number, Photograph, Date of Birth, Exam Venue, Exam Date, and Timings, etc. The cards will most likely be released in the month of October 2019.

KVPY Result 2019

IISc will declare KVPY Results 2019 in December. The candidates who qualify will have to appear in the interview round in January 2019. KVPY Merit List will be available category-wise, mentioning names and application numbers of qualifying candidates. The merit list will be based on the performance of the candidates in Round 1.

The Fellow continues to study Basic Science courses in school/junior college/university and maintains a minimum level of academic performance of first-class or 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate or equivalent grade points and the students have to necessarily pass all the subjects prescribed for that particular academic year (two semesters in case of semester system) and should have obtained the above-specified percentage of marks.

AP Brahmin Pension Scheme – “Kashyapa” Scheme | Apply Online, Status, Rewards

AP Brahmin Pension Scheme: Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of AP has introduced the “Kashyapa Scheme for Food & Shelter” (KS-FS) for the underprivileged Brahmins in the state. Under this scheme, a stipend of Rs. 2,000/- per month will be given to the Orphan children, Differently abled, Widows and Elderly (Rs. 4,000/- per month if any elderly staying in an Old-Age home), picked through the designated process.

The objective of the scheme is to help poor children, elderly brahmins, widows, and differently disabled and destitute women, with financial support to meet their food and shelter expenses. This scheme covers 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

AP Kashyapa Scheme Eligibility Criteria

After we have known, what this scheme is all about, let us discuss the eligibility criteria required for this scheme. Only the eligible candidates will be allowed to apply for this pension scheme and if any discrepancies are found, the application will be rejected by the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation.

  • The applicant should belong to the Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Holders of White Ration Card or annual family income below Rs. 75,000/-
  • Orphan children below 14 years of age as of 31st Jan 2021, Elderly above 60 years of age as on 31st Jan 2021, all differently-abled of any age, and widows & Destitute women (separated from husband, but do not have legal documents) of any age.
  • Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.

Note: State Level Selection Committee is authorized to make exceptions in the eligibility/selection process and their decision will be final.

AP Kashyapa Scheme Application Procedure

Applicants who are eligible for this scheme have to apply for it. The application form is available on the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation. Follow the below steps here to submit the application form.

  • Go to the official website, http://andhrabrahmin.ap.gov.in.
  • Click on the ‘services’ icon given at the top-most bar, where you will get the option of schemes.
  • Click on it and scroll down the page to get the ‘Kasyapa Schemes’.
  • Below that scheme, you will find a registration option.
  • Candidates have to register themselves and fill the application form by providing the complete details.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the necessary documents as mentioned.
  • The size of the scanned copies should be in pdf of a maximum of 250 kb size each.
  • Now submit the form.

  • Aadhar Card of the applicant.
  • Caste certificate issued by a competent Government authority (Revenue Inspector / MRO)
  • White Ration Card OR Income Certificate issued by a competent Government authority (Revenue Inspector / MRO).
  • Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank or SBI (account must be in the name of applicant)
  • In case of Elderly staying in Oldage home – A certificate from Old age home that the applicant is staying in their Oldage home
  • Death certificate of husband, in case of Widow OR Legal Divorce documents in case of divorcee women, and
  • In the case of destitute women (Separated from husband, but do not have legal documents) – a certificate/recommendation from the Director/DLO/MCLO of the Corporation OR from MC Member of the AP Brahmin Cooperative Credit Society OR from any MLA/MP/MLC

Note: Scrutinising, short-listing and finalization of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC).

AP Kashyapa Scheme Rewards

The amount specified under this scheme is as below:

  • Rs. 2,000/- per month to Orphan children below 14 Years,
  • Rs. 2,000/- per month to Different abled person,
  • Rs. 2,000/- per month to Widow or destitute women (separated from husband, but do not have legal document) of any age,
  • Rs. 2,000/- per month to Elderly of above 60 Yrs age, staying on his / her own
  • Rs. 4,000/- per month to Elderly of above 60 Yrs age, staying in any Old-age home in Andhra Pradesh
  • Rs. 2,000/- per month to Elderly of above 60 Yrs age, staying in any Old-age home in Andhra Pradesh and getting pension through NTR Bharosa Scheme.

Note: The above amounts will be transferred to the SB Accounts of the Selected applicants, from the month of eligibility.

Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was organized in memory of Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal, Founder and President of KIIT. KIIT University Scholarship offers free education to two poor and meritorious students every year.

  • Benefits: The selected students will get College Fees and Hostel fees including books, mess, and other ancillary expenses.

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW)

  • A cut-off qualifying mark will be fixed by the KIIT at the time of the declaration of the Entrance Result.
  • As per the availability of seats in different courses, cut-off Rank for counseling will be notified. Candidates, having a rank above cut-off rank, shall be called for counseling.
  • For B.Tech. 4-year program: it will be on the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Physics and then by age (preference to older candidates).
