Students of Scheduled Castes who have passed PU and graduated in first class for the first time in 2022 can apply for prize money.

SC Scholarship 2022 West Bengal: The scheduled caste (SC) students are given SC Scholarships to allow them to pursue their higher studies without any financial constraints. A variety of SC scholarships are provided by the Department of Social Welfare and Empowerment, Government of India, along with their state-level affiliates. The purpose of these scholarships is to provide adequate financial assistance to economically disadvantaged and meritorious students. An SC scholarship is split into the pre-matric, post-matric, national fellowship of Rajiv Gandhi and scholarship from overseas.

SC Scholarship – Objectives and Coverage

By providing full financial support, the Scheme seeks to identify and encourage quality education among students belonging to SCs. The program will protect students from SC to follow studies above 12th grade. The system will operate in all schools approved by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

A scholarship will be awarded to SC students who secure admission to the notified institutions to meet the requirements for full tuition fees and non-refundable fees (there will be a ceiling of Rs. 2.00 lakhs per year per student for private sector institutions and Rs. 3.72 lakhs per year per student for private sector flying clubs for commercial pilot training and type rating). Books and stationery @ Rs. 3000/-per year per student and the latest computer with accessories such as UPS, Printer, Multi-media limited to Rs. 45000/-per student as one-time support during the course.

The Institute will provide the award winners with computers and supplies. Alternatively, the Institute may also consider reimbursing the costs of buying the computer from a student. Only Rs. 45,000/-given, the software and accessories are purchased from a reputable manufacturer/supplier. Due to adequate results, the scholarship, if granted, will continue until the course is completed.

SC Scholarship – Objectives and Coverage

SC Scholarships Eligibility

Students from the SC who have obtained admission to the approved institutions in compliance with the requirements specified by the respective institutions shall be eligible for scholarships under the system to the sum of the number of scholarships allotted to the respective institutions. In the case that the amount of admitted students meets the number of awards, the grant will be limited to the highest in the inter-se merit list.

The remaining SC students admitted to the college in various courses shall be eligible as a federally funded scheme for the Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) administered by this Ministry, given that such students are otherwise eligible for the scheme. In the event that the Institute finds that the number of eligible candidates in the 1st year is less than the number of scholarships allocated to it, the balance scholarships may be offered to students studying in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, etc. one of the inter-secondary merits of the results of the previous year, giving priority to those with a higher number of years left to complete their respective course, i.e. 1st year to get priority over the 2nd year and so on.

Thirty percent (30 percent) of the slots allotted to the Institute shall be reserved according to their inter-se merit to deserving SC girl students. In the absence of a sufficient number of girl students, the slots may be allocated according to their merit to deserving by students. Moreover, the 30 million slots as stated above will not include girl students chosen on the basis of their success in the Institute’s overall merit list of SC students.

If there is more than one student with equivalent marks for the last available slot in an institution; priority may be granted to the student with the lowest parental income.

The Scheme’s advantage will not be extended to more than two siblings in a household. Students must send an affidavit in the Institute to this extent and confirm that he/she is not the family’s 3rd sibling who profits from the Program.

The total annual family income ceiling for all sources under the Scheme shall be Rs. 6.00 lakh and the general selection criteria for any institution’s eligible candidates shall be the merit. Furthermore, if there is more than one candidate with equivalent marks for the last available slot in an institution; priority may be granted to the applicant with the lowest parental income.

The scholarship will be paid immediately after a student has obtained entry and has started attending classes. If the student fails to pass the final exam, the scholarship will be canceled. Nonetheless, he will still be qualifying for the Post-Matric Scholarship.

National Overseas Scholarship for SC

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India launched the National Overseas Scholarship initiative to support financially constrained SC students/professionals to be able to study abroad through this fellowship. Applications are eligible for applications from students or professionals belonging to the SC category who wish to pursue a master’s or Ph.D. in institutes abroad.

Engineering and management, pure science and applied science, agricultural science and medicine, international trade, accounting finance, humanities, social science, and fine arts are the fields of study covered by this SC scholarship scheme.

For the actual amount to be paid on the nominee by the Government of India, the chosen applicant will have to conduct a bond on a non-judicial stamp paper before a notary. The candidates are not required to change the course of study or research while making use of the scholarship.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC

This SC scholarship is offered by the Indian Government and implemented by the State Government or territories of the Union (UT). The goal is to provide financial support to Class 9th and 10th students and to reduce their dropout due to lack of funds so that they can continue their higher studies. The amount of financial support that each scholar will receive under this scheme is given under this scheme.

  • Students should be classified as SC.

Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for SC

The SC students receive support from the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment for the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship or RGNF program. There are 2,000 scholarships awarded annually to students of SC. Students should be enrolled in the University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized universities. The fellowships are for M.Phil and the Ph.D. in particular.

AP PGECET Counseling 2019 | Counselling Procedure, Fee, Counselling Centers

AP PGECET Counseling 2019: Andhra University has commenced the AP PGECET counseling 2019 registration process for GPAT and GATE candidates. The final date for the application form is 11th July 2019. For participation in AP PGECET counseling 2019, candidates will have to pay the fees first through online mode. Document verification will be done at the help centers by the candidates for clearing AP PGECET counseling 2019. Also, in the counseling process, candidates will have to do the choice filling as per the preference of the candidates. AP PGECET 2019 will be conducted separately for GPAT and GATE qualified candidates. The seats in the process will be allowed based on the merit, seat availability, and preference of the candidates.

AP PGECET Counseling 2019 Procedure

  • Step – 1: Fee Payment and Registration – The candidates that are shortlisted for AP PGECET counseling 2019 will be required to pay the non-refundable fee of Rs. 600. For candidates that belong to ST and SC community, the application fee is Rs. 300. The entire application fee payment needs to be online through debit card or credit card or through net banking. The candidates need to login into their accounts by providing their rank and hall ticket number. After the fee payment, a transaction ID will be generated which should be kept safe for any future use.
  • Step – 2: Choice Filling – After the verification process is over, a login ID will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate. A password needs to be created using the hall ticket, registration number, and date of birth. After login, an OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number of the candidate. Once the OTP is entered, candidates will get a choice for their preferred choice number in place of each course and college that they wish to get admission into. Any given options can be selected and a printout of the same can be used for any future reference.
  • Step – 3: Seat Allotment – After this, the next step is the allotment of the seats. This will be done into colleges participating as per their selected choices, merit, and seat availability.
  • Step – 4: Modification of freezing and options – After the seats are allocated, candidates have the option to change their selected preferences if they are not entirely sure of the choices made. Candidates should note that this will be the final chance to make any changes.
  • Step – 5: Final Seat Allotment – Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment result only through online mode. Final allotment for seats will be done based on preferences, merit, and seat availability. The candidates that are allowed the seats will have to download the report and allotment order through self-reporting system. This reporting needs to be done at the allotted college. Both the mandatory stages of reporting needs to be done by the candidate. Failure to report within the stipulated time will result in the disqualification of candidates from the allotted seat.

AP PGECET Counselling 2019 – Reporting for Verification of Documents

After the application fee is paid, candidates need to report to their given venue. On the venue, the candidate needs to give his/her AP PGECET 2019 rank card. Candidates will be called based on their rank and will have to show their fee payment receipt or transaction ID and also provide their Aadhar number and mobile number. Here, candidates will have to get their documents verified by the concerned authorities. There will be a receipt generated once the documents are verified successfully at the help centers.

M.Sc./Int. M.S. for the session 2020–21 provided they have secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects (Physics/Chemistry/ Biology) in the X Standard Board Examination during the academic year 2017-18 are eligible to appear for the Aptitude test.

The fellowship of the students selected under this stream will be activated only if  they join an undergraduate course in Basic science (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. State Merit Scholarship Kerala The students studying in the first year of an undergraduate or postgraduate course in a government/aided college can apply.
The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination should be 50%.
The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs. 1 Lakh per annum.
Sanskrit Scholarship (SSE), Kerala The scholarship is open for students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses with Sanskrit as a subject.
Music Fine Arts Scholarship (MFAS), Kerala The students studying in a Government Fine Arts College or Government Music College can apply for this scholarship.

They must belong to a BPL family.
The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them in the last qualifying examination is 50% or above.
Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) for Minorities, Kerala The scholarship is open for students who belong to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, and Buddhists).
They must be pursuing their studies from class 11 to Ph.D. level.
The minimum percentage of marks to be obtained by them in the qualifying examination should be 50% or above or equivalent grade.
The annual income of the family should be less than Rs. 2 lakh.
Central Sector Scholarship (CSS), Kerala The students, who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in class 12 from the respective Board of Examination can apply for this scholarship.
They must be pursuing regular degree courses at undergraduate or postgraduate level from institutions/colleges recognized by AICTE/UGC/MCI/DCI or any other regulatory authorities.
The annual income of the family should be less than Rs. 8 Lakh from all sources.

NEET Counselling 2019 | Last Date To Report Allotted Colleges 25th July 2019

NEET Counselling 2019: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will commence the NEET counseling in the month of June. The counseling will be held in online mode. This NEET counseling 2019 will be conducted for the 15% of the total seats (also known as 15% All India Quota seats) of all the government colleges (except for colleges of Jammu and Kashmir state), all the seats reserved under central and deemed universities,seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges, and seats under Armed Force Medical College,Pune.

MCC had extended NEET Counseling fee payment facility till June 26 (7:00 PM) while the registration for NEET COunselling Round 1 has extended till June 26, 2019 (5:00 PM). The choice Filling option will be available until June (11:00 AM). The online MCC Counselling and Seat Allotment for 15% All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ ESIC and AFMC (MBBS/BDS) seats will be conducted between June 27 to 30, 2019.

NEET Counselling Procedure

To proceed for the NEET counseling students must follow the below given steps

  • Step 1 – Registration: candidates need to register themselves for NEET counseling by using their roll number, name, etc.
  • Step 2 – Fee Payment: after the registration candidates need to pay the counseling fees which is payable online.
  • Step 3 – Choice locking: In this step candidates needs to fill the colleges and courses in order of their priority.
  • Step 4 – Seat Allotment Result:  After the process of NEET Counselling, authorities will announce the NEET Seat allotment result, as per the preferences made by the candidates.
  • Step 5 – Report to the College: After the seat allotment, a specific time period is given within which the students need to report to their respected colleges.
  • Step 6 – Payment of registration fee: Candidates attempting the exam will have to submit refundable tuition fees as per the owner of the institute.The candidates joining the colleges under 15% AIQ/ Central Universities need to pay INR 10,000/- if general and INR 5,000/- if reserved. And the  Deemed university candidates of all categories are required to pay INR 2,00,000.

For Assistant Commissioner

  • Master’s Degree in any of the stream, Humanities/Science/Commerce from a recognized Institution/ University
  • Candidate holding similar post or post of Principal in the Educational Planning and Administration in any Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Organization.

For Post Graduate Teachers

  • Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the particular subject with minimum 50% marks aggregate.
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in the respective disciplines.
  • B. Ed Degree is mandatory.
  • Ability in Teaching in Hindi and English medium.

For Miscellaneous Teachers

Music

  • Five years of study in Music from any Institution recognized by the State Govt. and equivalent to Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree.
  • A Bachelors Degree in Music from a recognized university and B.Ed. Or Higher Secondary/Sr.Secondary with any certificate in music.

Art

  • Five years Recognized Diploma in any discipline of Fine Arts as Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts after passing Secondary Examination (Class X or equivalent).
  • B.Ed. Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts (Degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) after class XII will be considered as equivalent to Five Years.

PET

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical qualification for the diploma is at least University’s Degree.

Librarian

  • University’s degree in Library Science from a recognized institution
  • Graduation with One-year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institution.
  • Diploma in Fine Arts after Class X.

Trained Graduate Teachers

  • Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. Bachelor’s Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in a concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate.
  • Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE, for the purpose.
  • B.Ed. Degree
  • Competence to teach through English and Hindi / concerned Regional language as the case may be.

Legal Assistant

  • Degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • Three years of experience in handling legal cases.

Female Staff Nurse

  • Passed Sr. Secondary Examination (Class XII) or equivalent and Grade ‘A’ (Three years) Diploma/Certificate in Nursing from a recognized Institution.
  • B.Sc (Nursing) from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Registration with Indian/ State Nursing Council and Practical experience of two years in Hospital/Clinic.

Catering Assistant

  • Secondary School (X class pass) and Three Years Diploma in Catering or equivalent from an Institution recognized by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India/State Govt.
  • Passed Sr. Secondary (Class XII) from CBSE with Hotel Management and Catering as Vocational Subject and at least one year experience in catering.
  • Passed Sr.Secondary (Class XII) or equivalent and a one-year diploma in catering or equivalent from a recognized Institution with three years experience in catering
    in reputed institutions/hotels.
  • Trade proficiency Certificate in Catering with a minimum of 10 years of service in Defence Services of the regular establishment (for Ex-Servicemen only).

Lower Division Clerk

  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) certificate from a recognized Board with 50% marks and possessing a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typing or 25 words per minute in Hindi typing correspond to 10500 KDPH as on average of 5 key depressions for each word.
  • Passed + 2 level or Senior Secondary Certificate from CBSE/State Govt. With Secretarial Practices and Office Management as Vocational Subjects.

NVS Selection Procedure

  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in written examination/Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview/Personal Interaction put together.
  • In the case of Legal Assistant, Female Staff Nurse & Catering Assistant the selection to the post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination/CBT only.
  • For the post of Lower Division Clerk, candidates shortlisted on the basis of Written Examination/CBT will be called for Trade/Skill Test which will be of qualifying in nature only and carries no weightage.

North Eastern Council (NEC) Merit Scholarship

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to permanent residents of any of the States in the North-Eastern States studying various professional & technical at different levels from the fund allotted by the North Eastern Council Secretariat, Shillong.

Eligibility

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 4,50,000/- (Rs. Four lakh Fifty Thousand only) per annum.
  2. Permanently settled in Mizoram State.
  3. Studying technical and professional courses up to Post-Doctoral Fellowship
  4. The pass percentage for ST/SC in the last examination should not be less than 60% and 70% for General students.

Scholarship Scheme for Colleges and University Students Scoring 80%

The main objective of scholarships is to assist meritorious students with financial assistance for those who are coming from low-income families. These scholarships will help them to meet a portion of their day to day expenses while doing their higher studies. The scheme is 100% funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 8,00,000/- (Rs. Eight lakh only) per annum.

National Merit cum Means Scholarship

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out of class VIII and encourage them to continue the study at the secondary stage. Scholarship of Rs. 12000/- per annum (Rs.1000/- per month) per student is awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to selected students every year for study in classes from IX to XII Students studying in recognized Govt / Govt Aided/Local Body/Corporate Schools

Eligibility

  1. Parents/Guardians’ income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rs.One lakh Fifty Thousand only) per annum.
  2. The students shall have a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class VII examination for appearing in the selection test for award of scholarship (relax-able by 5% for SC/ST students). The students should be studying as regular students in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools.
  3. Mental Ability Test may consist of 90 multiple-choice questions testing verbal and non-verbal meta-cognitive abilities like reasoning and critical thinking. The questions in the test may be on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figure, etc.
  4. Scholastic Aptitude Test may consist of 90 multiple-choice questions covering subjects namely, science, social studies, and mathematics as taught in classes VII and VIII.

National Scheme of Incentives to Girls for Secondary Education

The objective of the Scheme is to establish an enabling environment to reduce the dropouts and to promote the enrolment of girl child belonging to SC/ST communities in secondary schools and ensure their retention up to 18 years of age. A sum of Rs. 3000 (Rupees three thousand only) would be deposited by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under term /fixed deposit in a public sector bank or in a post office in the name of every eligible girl child. The term/period of the deposit may be counted from the date of deposit to the date on which the girl child attains the age of 18 years. No premature withdrawal will be allowed.

  1. The applicant must be an Indian Citizen.
  2. The applicant must be female.
  3. Applicant must belong to ST/SC category or must have passed class VIII examination
  4. Applicant must enroll in class IX in State Government, Government-aided or Local Body schools.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students whose Parents engaged in cleaning and prone to health hazards

The scheme aims to provide financial assistance for Pre-Matric Education to children of the following target groups, viz. Scavengers, sweepers having traditional links with scavenging, tanners, and flayers. Under the scheme, 100% central assistance is provided to State Governments from the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

  1. The scholarship will be admissible to the children/wards of Indian Nationals who, irrespective of their religion belongs to one of the following categories

  1. The student should belong to Mizoram State only.
  2. The student should not be covered under any other Scholarship scheme.
  3. Not more than one child of the same parents’/guardians will be eligible for the said scheme.
  4. The income of the parent/guardian should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- (One lakh) per month for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand) for General Category. Income certificates/salary certificates will be submitted at the time of admission for grant of scholarship.
  5. Scholarship for studying in any class will be available for only one year and renewable as per Rules/Condition. If a student has to repeat a class, he would not get a scholarship for that class for the second (and subsequent) year.

Mizoram Research Fellowship

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to Research workers and teachers preferably below the age of 45 years who have established their reputation for research or who in any field and who have obtained a doctorate degree, have published research work to their credit and have already shown evidence of independent research work.

Eligibility

  1. Only the children or works of bonafide permanent residents of Mizoram shall be eligible for the award of fellowship which application will be made in the form as in the Annexure to these Regulations.
  2. No student prosecuting higher studies or research any University or institution which is not recognized or established by law shall be eligible for the award of the fellowship.
  3. No student found guilty of misconduct or breach of discipline or participating in strikes, demonstrations, picketing and the like for unfair demands from any high-level authority shall eligible for the award of fellowship under these Regulations.
  4. No student who fails to secure at least 50% on an average in the last University Examination shall be eligible for the award unless otherwise relaxed by the awarding authority.
  5. A student /research fellow in receipt of any scholar or stipend except merit scholarship, from any sources, shall not eligible for an award under these regulations.

The students picked for the scholarships are provided financial support to meet the cost of their higher education. e-Medhabruti Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

For each scholarship under the e-Medhabruti Scheme, there are eligibility criteria. Students who want to apply for this scholarship, should the requirements before applying for it.
