NTSE UP Exam Fee

  • For the application process to be over, it is important that the candidates pay the application fee and after that appear for the exam.
  • However, candidates are required to pay Rs. 50 as the application fee if he/she or belongs to an OBC or general category.
  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to pay Rs. 30 as the application fee for the exam.

NTSE UP Question Paper Pattern

The NTSE UP exam stage 1 divided into 3 sections. These are the mental ability test, language comprehension test, and scholastic ability test. Below is the table where the distribution details of maximum marks, questions, and time allotted for every section is provided.

  1. Each right answer in MAT, as well as SAT stage 1 exam, carries 1 mark. Also, there are no negative marks in any of this section.

  3. The LCT section given is just for qualifying the exam. The marks scored in this section will not be added in the final score of the candidate. Thus, it is not considered as a decisive factor in the last stage of the state-level merit list.
  4. The SAT section given evaluates candidates’ knowledge and most likely covers subjects like science, mathematics, and social science for class 10 and 12 levels.
  5. The MAT section evaluates candidates’ ability to think, reasoning skills, and spatial orientation, etc. Questions that are asked in the MAR section are based on series, analogies, coding-decoding, patterns, problem-solving, etc.

TS PGECET Counselling 2019 Certificate Verification

The first and foremost step is to get your certificates and documents verified. You need to register for the same in the official Helpline centers (Check out the entire list on the official website). You will then be provided with a date and venue for the procedure. When you reach the venue, you will have to show your rank card at the entrance to get in. Once inside, you will be called according to rank to pay the counseling fee. You also need to fill in the registration form using the relevant details. You will then have to submit the following original documents for verification:

TS PGECET Web Counselling 2019

Follow the given steps after document verification:

  • Step – 1: Visit the official TS PGECET website (link is given above).
  • Step – 2: Click on “TS PGECET Admissions Open” link.
  • Step – 3: Read the instructions displayed on the screen carefully before clicking proceed. You can print the instructions out if you wish.
  • Step – 4: Click on the “Exercise TS PGECET Web Options” link on the home page.
  • Step – 5: The verification window will open. You will be prompted to enter the required details such as Registration number (GATE/GPAT), Hall Ticket number (TS PGECET), Registered mobile number, etc.
  • Step – 6: On clicking “Submit”, a password will be generated and sent to you on your registered E-mail ID and phone number. You can use this password to log in.

TS PGECET Counselling 2019 – Choice Filling

You will now be able to fill in your choices of colleges and courses. You can also filter the choices available based on alphabetical order or based on the district. You can modify the choices at any time before freezing it. Once you have finished entering your preferences, you can save the lost by clicking the “SAVE” button and confirming using your password. You can take a print out of your filled-in choices for future reference.

TS PGECET Counselling 2019 – Freezing Option

The exercising of web options will be closed at 12:00 A.M. on the last date for web options as per the notification.
Options registered in the server will be frozen automatically on the last day and will be used for seat allotment of TS PGECET 2019.

TS PGECET Counselling 2019 General Instructions

Below given are the general instructions that you need to keep in mind.

  1. Candidates are required to apply for TS PGECET-2019 test through Online mode only (printed hard copy of the applications will not be accepted).
  2. The application/registration fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rs 500/- in case of SC/ST) per test. In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, the separate registration fee has to be paid for each test.
  3. The examination will be conducted in Online Mode only i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT).
  4. The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon (Reporting time at the test center will be 09:00 AM) in the morning session and 2.00PM to 4.00 PM (Reporting time at the test center will be 01:00 PM) for the afternoon sessions.
  5. Computer Based Test (CBT) is of two-hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. No negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answer. The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 30 marks, in case of SC/ST there are no minimum marks.
  6. The Question Papers will be in English only, syllabus of each test paper is given in the official website (link is given above).
  7. Candidates must ensure that they choose the correct test paper, which qualifies them to become eligible to seek admission to the specific program they are interested in. The details of the courses offered by the Universities along with specified eligibility for each course and test to be written is given on the official TS PGECET website (link is given above). Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria for admission into the preferred program.
  8. TS PGECET-2019 will be held at two different regional centers in the State of Telangana i.e., Hyderabad and Warangal.
  9. As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy is 50% in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE / Distance Education Council (DEC) approval.
  10. Candidate should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per GO Ms. No 153.
  11. The Hall-Tickets are to be downloaded from the official website (link is given above). Without HallTickets the candidate will not be allowed into the test center.
  12. Appearing in the test does not guarantee admission. The candidate has to satisfy all the requirements at the time of admission.

NTSE Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria

  • Students that are currently in class 10 and studying in Maharastra can be eligible for NTSE Maharashtra 2020 exam.
  • Only the students that are currently going to appear for the 10th exam can apply for this exam.
  • Students applying should at least have 60% marks in class 9 exams.
  • Open schooling students are also eligible to apply for the stage 1 exam. However, the student should be less than 18 years of age and not earning.
  • Students applying can only receive 1 scholarship at a time.

NTSE Maharashtra Exam Application Form

Maharashtra education board will release the NTSE exam application form online during the second week of August 2019. The final date to apply will be in September, while students can also fill the form after the date with the late fee charged. Students can also obtain the NTSE exam application forms from their respective schools. For this, they need to fill it offline and submit it after fees are paid. Students can also download the form online by clicking on the link provided on the page. After the form is filled, students should submit the form back to the schools. NTSE Maharashtra 2020 exam application form will then be submitted to the state liaison officer before the final date. Candidates need to enter the following details while registering for NTSE Maharashtra 2020 exam:

NTSE Maharashtra Exam Pattern

  • The exam pattern for the 1st stage of the Maharashtra 2020 exam has two parts, mental ability test which is MAT and scholastic ability test which is the SAT.

NTSE Exam Scholarship

Under the NTSE program, approximately 2000 students are selected for the scholarship. This scholarship is distributed every year by the national organizing body. Students that are selected through NTSE Maharashtra stage 1 are selected for stage 2 exam.

KVPY Result 2019-2020: Every year, the Indian Institute of science conducts a scholarship program under the name of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. This year’s registration for KVPY Exam 2019 will start in the second week of July. The main exam will be conducted on November 3, 2019. KVPY Selection Procedure 2019

  • The candidates whose KVPY application forms are accepted will be called for the first stage of the selection procedure which is the aptitude test.
  • The aptitude test for KVPY 2019 will be in online mode on 4th November 2019.
  • In the test, the questions asked will be from chemistry, physics, maths, and biology.
  • For stream SA, SB, and SX, the questions in the aptitude test will be the same.
  • Candidates that qualify the aptitude test will be called for a further round of interview.

KVPY Result 2019 – Aptitude Test

Aptitude test will be carried out in 2 parts which are part 1 and part 2. There will be four sections in each of these parts. Out of these, candidates need to attempt 3 sections in 1st and 2 in part 2. Thus, candidates should prepare their subjects accordingly as the per syllabus provided on KVPY.

KVPY Result 2019 – Interview

The KVPY interview procedure is conducted to test the knowledge of the candidates in the science and research field. The knowledge in both fields will check if the candidate is capable and deserving of the scholarship. Documents Required at the day of KVPY Interview Process

  1. KVPY admit card: The original KVPY admit card along with a copy should be carried to the interview center.
  2. KVPY application form: The copy of the KVPY application form filled online should be carried. Also, the KVPY application form can be downloaded online through the official web link using the password and ID.
  3. Original marks list: Candidates need to bring all the original marksheets of class 10 and 12 in the original form along with the photocopies. These are required for document verification purpose.
  4. Medical certificate: The medical certificate is required to be provided by the candidate for indicating physical and visual fitness. Candidates that have not issued the visual and physical fitness should get a certificate indicating the degree of disturbance.
  5. Cast certificate: The cast certificate should be provided in the original format and is compulsory. The OBC certificate provided should not be older than 6 months.
  6. Self-appraisal form: Candidates should mention their good qualities which must be considered for him to award with the scholarship certificate.
  7. Study center form: A form which is obtained from the last school that indicates the completion of schooling must be brought. It should have signed by the principal or the head of the school.
  8. Teacher’s recommendation letter: This form is available on the KVPY official website and must be signed by the teacher.

KVPY Result 2019 – Scholarship

Candidates that will be eligible for KVPY scholarship will be judged based on their performance in the interview and aptitude test. The selected candidates will only receive this award. Below are the details of the cash which is awarded for the KVPY scholarship holders:
